Harvest festival and things that go bump in the night!
The autumn term is well underway and we are pleased that all the children have made a fantastic start and are enjoying their school time. October is a busy month starting with our Harvest Festival celebrations. Details of how we are celebrating will be distributed via your child’s teacher.
On the 12 October parents are invited to visit their child’s classroom to view their children’s work on an informal basis. Formal parents evening will follow later on in the year.
Before we end the term on 19th October, parents are invited to stay and play with their children in the morning. We continue our end of mid-term fun by having a Halloween party in the afternoon where there will be lots of spooky fun with games and activities for everyone to enjoy.
It is definitely turning a little more chilly and we would therefore ask that your child comes to school with an appropriate coat. We only stay indoors at playtimes if the weather is exceptionally wet as it is important for children to have as much outdoor play as possible during the day.
Finally a brief reminder of our half term dates, 22nd October – 2nd November (inclusive)
