This half term has flown by!
Our children have enjoyed bustin’ some moves to celebrate World Dance Day, visiting the fabulous Wetlands Centre in Barnes and, since the end of April we have been nurturing some butterfly eggs! The caterpillars are now in their chrysalis and the children cannot wait to see the butterflies appear.
In May the whole school took part in ‘Safer scooter day’ with lots of activities in Ravenscourt Park and our school theme has been pollinating insects. The children have spent a lot of time looking for minibeasts whilst out in the park or our outdoor class. In our English club the children planted tomato and sunflower seeds – fingers crossed for some very tasty treats and tall results!
As we are now spending more time outdoors please remember to bring a hat and suncream for your little one as the weather gets hotter.
A quick reminder that term finishes at the usual time on Friday 24th May and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday 3rd June.
Have a great holiday!
